We hope you have been enjoying parking with EasyPark and have tried our by-minute parking and early stop functionality. 

As a new service provider in the Czech Republic, we have offered a cost-free period to all customers transferring their accounts from MPLA for the remainder of 2023. This offer has now expired and from 2024, your account has been moved to the EasyPark standard package where you will pay a service fee every time you use the EasyPark app.

Why do we charge a service fee

EasyPark, as a service company, makes its revenue from charging a service fee. This fee is additional to the parking costs which are then paid to the operator in full. At this point in time, the service fee will only apply in the city of Prague, Jihlava, Lovosice and some others. More cities may follow in due course. Please always check the app and our website for the applicable fees.

This service fee allows us to continue to operate and offer our services in more places in the Czech Republic and abroad, as well as to develop new features and services, such as by-minute parking.

What is changing

We are now updating everyone to the same tariffs to harmonize our offer in the Czech Republic. From 8 January 2024 EasyPark has started to charge a service fee for you who have transferred your account from the MPLA application and tried the app without a service fee. The service fee is charged on top of the cost for each parking session and is calculated based on the parking cost set by the operator. If you use the EasyPark app for parking, you can see your calculated parking cost and our service fee in the app when you set an end time and before you start your parking session. 

The current standard service fee is 15% of the cost for your parking session (with a minimum of up 2,90 to 9,90 CZK depending on the area). Please note that the standard pricing may change over time and by location or operator. The current standard pricing is published on our website.

What you need to do

This change is automatic and you do not need to take any action. This price will be applied whenever you park at a location where the service fee applies. You can read more about our user fees on our website.
